Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how A&A Auto Detailing (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, book appointments online, contact us, or visit our studios in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
We design our practices to align with Canadian privacy expectations (including principles under PIPEDA and applicable Alberta law) and, where relevant, international standards for transparency, purpose limitation, and security.

- Appointment preferences, messages, and support requests
- Billing and payment details processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers on our servers when using Stripe or similar gateways)
- Newsletter / marketing opt-in details if you subscribe
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, IP address, general location derived from IP
- Pages visited, referral source, and approximate usage analytics
- Cookies or similar technologies needed for session, preferences (e.g. selected store), and security
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage bookings, deposits, invoices, and service history
- To send confirmations, reminders, reschedule notices, and receipts
- To process payments and issue store credit vouchers where applicable
- To respond to inquiries and provide customer support

- To send marketing only where you have opted in or where permitted by law (you may unsubscribe)
- To detect fraud, abuse, and payment disputes (including responding to Stripe / card network disputes)
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
3. Payment processors (including Stripe)
Online card payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment partner. When you pay, card data is typically handled directly by the processor under their security standards (e.g. PCI DSS). Stripe processes personal data under its own Privacy Policy. We receive limited payment metadata (such as last four digits, brand, amount, and transaction status) needed to confirm your booking and keep our records.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers who help us operate (hosting, email/SMS delivery, analytics, payment processing)
- Professional advisors (accounting, legal) under confidentiality obligations
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property
- Business transfers if we reorganize or sell assets, subject to continued privacy protections
5. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, booking and invoice records for accounting and warranty periods, and marketing contacts until you unsubscribe or we purge inactive lists. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data where practicable.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data (access controls, encrypted transport via HTTPS, restricted staff access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong unique passwords for any portal accounts and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use of your information.
7. Your choices & rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Withdraw marketing consent
- Ask about deletion or restriction where legally available
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
8. Children
Our services are directed to adults booking vehicle detailing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region).
9. International transfers
Some providers (for example Stripe or cloud hosts) may process data in other countries. Where data leaves Canada, we take steps consistent with Canadian privacy expectations, including relying on contractual and organizational safeguards offered by those providers.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies for site function (e.g. remembering your selected store) and may use analytics cookies to understand traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect booking features.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
