Terms of Service
Welcome to A&A Auto Detailing (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, online booking, and detailing services. By accessing the site, creating a booking, or paying an advance, you agree to these Terms and our related policies.
1. Who we are
We provide professional in-studio auto detailing and related services at our Edmonton location. We do not offer mobile / at-home detailing. Contact details are on our Contact page.
2. Services
- Service descriptions and package prices on the website are invitations to book, not binding offers until we confirm your appointment.
- Actual work performed depends on vehicle condition, size, selected package, and time available. We may recommend additional work; you approve extras before we proceed.
- Completion times are estimates. Delays can occur due to vehicle condition or schedule congestion.
3. Online booking & advances
- You must provide accurate contact and vehicle information.
- Some packages require an advance / deposit paid online to reserve your slot.
- Advances are governed by our Refund Policy: they are not refunded to your card; eligible cancellations receive a store credit voucher only (processing fees excluded).
- Remaining balances are due as stated at booking or at the studio unless we agree otherwise.
4. Cancellations, reschedules & no-shows
Please see the Refund Policy for full rules. In summary: cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours ahead for a store voucher on the eligible advance; late cancellations and no-shows generally forfeit the advance.
5. Payments
- Accepted methods may include cards (e.g. Stripe), debit, e-transfer, and cash where offered.
- Pass-through card / gateway fees shown at checkout are non-refundable.
- You authorize us and our processors to charge the amounts you confirm for advances and balances.
- Unpaid balances may result in refusal of future bookings until settled.
6. Customer responsibilities
- Arrive on time at our studio for your booked appointment.
- Remove valuables and personal items before service. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
- Disclose known issues (alarm systems, aftermarket electronics, damaged paint, prior repairs) that may affect service.
- Ensure you have authority to authorize work on the vehicle.
7. Results & limitations
- Detailing improves appearance and protection but cannot reverse all prior damage, oxidation, or wear.
- Ceramic coatings and protection products require proper aftercare; warranties (if any) depend on the product tier and your compliance with care instructions.
- Pre-existing chips, scratches, dents, and interior stains may remain visible after cleaning.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to a booking or service is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific service, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law (including for gross negligence or willful misconduct).
You agree we are not responsible for loss caused by third-party payment networks, your bank, or chargebacks initiated without first contacting us to resolve the issue under our Refund Policy.
9. Intellectual property
Website content, branding, logos, and photos are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing of the site.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data at scale, or interfere with booking systems.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Third-party services
Payment and messaging providers (including Stripe) have their own terms. Your use of those services may be subject to their agreements in addition to these Terms.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the date you book or pay an advance applies to that transaction. Material updates will refresh the “Last updated” date.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
